Hello BMG and Regalitos Foundation Friends and Supporters:

As Halloween and the Fall season approaches, I hope you and your family will enjoy one of my favorite yearly holidays safely surrounded with lots of candy and your favorite ghouls and goblins!

Just a quick note to let you know that BMG and Regalitos Foundation continue to make progress in our efforts to bring back live audiences to concerts and musical events, but it is slow progress.

Covid-19 continues to create challenging obstacles in the events and concert promotions industry. In my opinion to ignore these challenges or pretend they are not there is completely irresponsible of venues, promoters, and presenters. At the Brevard Music Group and Regalitos Foundation we will always put the health and well-being of our guests, staff, and artists first.

Why is it important for me to touch on this subject again? Because planning events and concerts during an ever-changing worldwide pandemic is like trying to hit a continual moving target from afar. It is exceedingly difficult to plan events even three months out while Covid-19 infections are rising again in much of the country including Florida. We would rather err on the side of caution than move too quickly just to announce an event and have even one person get sick from Covid.

Having said that, we look forward to our November 21st Smooth Jazz event with saxophonist Jazmin Ghent! To all Jazmin Ghent ticket holders, each of you will be receiving an email from us two weeks from the event detailing hotel check in times, dinner, and concert schedule. We will also clearly detail our Covid-19 precautions and procedures. We will require everyone attending the concert to abide by those procedures, rules and regulations. I kindly remind you that only with your understanding and cooperation can we keep live audience concerts moving forward solwly and safely.

Upcoming announcements on Smooth Jazz guitarist Chris Standring and the first of Roland’s Intimate Smooth Jazz Getaway will be in your inboxes, on our websites and social media platforms as soon as all the details, including Covid-19 procedures and safety measures have been verified and finalized. I do apologize for the time it has taken to make final announcements about these two dates, but I remind you again that the Covid-19 “target” moves daily. Your patience is appreciated.

My sincere appreciation to all of you who have contributed to our non-profit causes and to assist us in bringing live audiences and concerts back to Brevard. While visiting Regalitos.org please consider a small donation, picking up a BMG face covering, or one of our many smooth jazz compact discs. Your donation is completely tax deductible and goes directly to the project of your choice. To visit the Regalitos website click on the logo above.

The BMG/Regalitos family, Maureen and I wish you and yours a Happy and safe Halloween. Thank you so much for your friendship and support!

Roland
